I am terrible sorry for not posting anything lately, but it has been such a busy time for me! I have been flying to South America, the Middle East, India and the Far East and have done a lot of work for our national, European and international pilots associations as well! A highlight was certainly my trip to Gran Canaria to attend the yearly IFATCA Conference (international air traffic controller’s association) – being the official representative of IFALPA (the international pilots association) I was very happy to be there and work together with my colleagues from the other side of the radio!
All in all I have not had enough time to do what I really like – taking photos! Except… I have been to Cologne visiting one of my friends in the tower there. We also had the chance to explore the airport grounds and get close to the runway. Here are some of the images I have managed to edit in my rare spare minutes:
I have also tried out some night shots from within the cockpit again. Vibration of the camera and its attachment unit is an issue that I still have to work on, but there are one or two shots that didn’t come out too bad…
There is also a sad news: my shop has crashed again – not good! This means so purchases are possible at the moment. I am working on it, but I will probably have to change my provider again. Now that really p***** ** ***!
Good news is that I will be visiting this year ILA, the Internationale Luftfahrtausstellung or as it is also know the Berlin Air Show 2014. It is also one of the reasons that I will have to go to bed now, as it starts tomorrow and want to be there right from the opening. Should you be visiting on Thursday the 22nd, you might also find me at the booth of the German Pilots Association Vereinigung Cockpit – see you in Berlin!
