The collecting of things is part of the human nature! Our ancestors had to collect all kinds of food, stones, building material… to survive. We still carry these genes in us and most people collect something! It is part of our nature. Being an aviation fanatic I collect safety cards (the little information cards in your seat pocket that tell you what to do in an emergency) and I know that many people do so, too. It is always a great reminder of a flight and a super-interesting hobby, because it tells you a lot about an airline, but also the mentality, culture, art of a country and (looking at older cards) the history of aviation.
Nevertheless I have to make space at home and get rid of some of my dear cards. Therefore I am constantly selling some of them on eBay, which all of you probably know to be a great place for bargain sales from private parties. At the moment I have a unique collection of cards from the Islamic Republic of Iran, with airlines including IranAir, Mahan Air, Zagros and others. Some of the aircraft types are the historic Boeing 747SP, 747-100/-200 and -300s or Fokker 100, but also Airbus planes. The highlight is certainly an old IranAir Boeing 727-100 (!) safety card in striking turquoise. I have searched the whole internet, but could only find it in the old databases but nowhere else…

Some cards have fixed prices, but I am open to negotiations and you can always suggest a price! Shipping will be in a regular envelope, but I am doing my best to protect your cards. Shipping as parcel and/or with tracking code is possible and multiple wins will of course be combined to save shipping costs (please wait for a final invoice from me in that case).
